Many of you know me by rosegoddesss, that's to be my personal art deviant. This is where I will feature only Athenais Designs.

Let's see, something about me. My name is Victoria Rooney. I live in Springfield, MA with my lovely daughter, her father and our insane cat. I went to UMass Amherst and majored in astronomy. Unfortunately, I was unable to finish my degree. Currently, I am enrolled at STCC with a major in English/creative writing.

I've been designing since 2005. I have to say my early work blew. I'm far more comfortable with my sewing and designing skills now.

The look that I consistently go for is elegant, geometric and flattering to the body type. While I do aim for sexy, whorish is overdone.

I'm constantly looking for new models and photographers. Clearly, I have my favorites but that doesn't mean I don't like new.

Next year, I am making the move to completely plus-sized designs, as I feel that this is the hardest and most needed work that I will ever be able to pull off.

I have a tendency to be rather staid in my designs and that's something I will be working on, as I add new skills to my repertoire. Let it not be said that we don't evolve everyday.
